Destination Cranleigh
Cranleigh Chamber of Commerce began canvassing interest in setting up a High Street Business Improvement District (BID) in Cranleigh in 2018. Waverley Borough Council financed a Feasibility Study and initial Consultation in 2019. After a delay due to the pandemic, and the appropriate research and consultations, the Cranleigh BID was launched in October 2023 as Destination Cranleigh, led by High Street retailers and offices paying a levy.
Although entirely independent of Cranleigh Chamber, our relationship with Destination Cranleigh remains close. As a result, Destination Cranleigh is delighted to be able to offer businesses the opportunity to benefit from its increasingly successful marketing arm for just £100 a year. Benefits will include the following:
• A full listing on Destination Cranleigh website
• 3 inserts per year in the Destination Cranleigh ‘What’s on webpage’
• 1 social media organisation spotlight
• Participation in numerous marketing programmes and initiatives (i.e., Cranleigh Shop Local Scheme, Halloween family trail, etc
Whether your organisation is outside of the BID area, or a group which offers a community service, or an organisation who are not for profit or exempt from paying business rates, no longer excludes your organisation from benefitting from Destination Cranleigh’s far reaching audience.
